There are six seasons in Bangladesh. Here every season comes with its own beauty. But the spring is called the king of seasons. Anyway, the spring is the most pleasant season of the year in Bangladesh. In this season everybody feels active. All take an interest in outdoor life. The spring Bengali name is (Besant) we can say Among them, the spring season is the best, the loveliest and the most charming. Any way I am describing what people do and how to celebrate in first day of spring. “Pahala Falgun” is the first day of spring and eleventh month in the Bengali calendar that falls on 14th February. 14th February also valentine’s day. “Falgun” is Bengali name. The celebration was started in 1991 by students at Dhaka University Faculty of Fine Arts. But since few years all kinds of people of Bangladesh celebrate this program. Different organization including the Bangladesh Shilpa Kala Academy and many other organizations, institutions also celebrate this program. On the eve of Puhala Falgun peoples specially women decorate themselves with flower. Women and girls wear Sharee. People wear color fall attire. They greet each other. Purpose of this day's Bengali people makes traditional food at their home. They welcomed spring with so many festivities. Spring is color full. Color makes us happy. Color gives us inspire to living with Cheerfully.
I like that festival very much.
