Media Freedom

 Now I am spending my summer vacation in my country. I am studying bachelor degree  of Journalism & Mass Communication. What I am writing today it is also my subject related matter. Yes, I am writing about media freedom. At first  I have to say, What is Media Freedom? Media Freedom of the media is the fundamental right of various forms of media including print, radio, television and online media. 'Media freedom of various kinds of mass media and sources of communication to operate in political and civil society. The term acknowledges that the media in modern societies consist of more than print sources. Media freedom is generally held to be necessary for democratic societies. Now-a-days different media organizations have different characters  and purposes. Basically, their responsibility  is whatever the organization says it is. And when it is changes owners, or when an owner changes its mind or when a large advertiser insists  it do something their responsibility can change. But for a free and fair media journalist also have big responsibility. We know it is impossible for a democracy to exist, unless the public is well informed. Uninformed  people cannot make rational decisions regarding their politics and their government without knowledge  and understanding. Whenever responsibility of journalist, it is significant  that the role  that media should having a nation with a democracy, is to make sure that the public is informed and not propagandized and authentic. Beside this a journalist  or a journalist  writing   should be based on facts, observations, and interviews with expert sources, or those knowledgeable of the issue. Moreover a journalist should follow immersion reporting, complicated structures, character development , symbolism voice a focus on ordinary people... and accuracy. On the other hand government regulations may be necessary to control corporate media outlets that dominate  the public's access to information. We have aware from unregulated channels  of communications also. Because many new forms  of media doing work  in the present world. If we should follow journalist ethics and maintain some rules and regulations and if we try to balance those of things  so we can get freedom of media. We know a free media functions as a watchdog that can investigate all kinds of report of a country. Because the freedom of the press, protected by the first Amendment is critical to a democracy in which the government  is accountable to the people  and finally I can say Freedom of Media  can highlight where there is injustice in society. Moreover it gives citizens the information they need to hold their leaders accountable and promotes economic development.
