Field visit in Khatkar Kalan

It was really a great day for us. What I am writing about today, I am writing about a famous freedom fighter of  India. Yes, I am writing about great freedom fighter " Bhagat Singh". Our department of Journalism & Mass Communication  had visit Khachkar Kalan Village on 6th September 2024. Khachkar Kalan is a historical village which has got the honors of  being the village of the famous patriots and freedom fighters. Khachkar Village situated outside Banga Town in Shahid- Bhagat Singh Nagar district in the Indian State of the Punjab. I told Before this place is famous for  so many Patriots and freedom fighters, like Sardar-Kashan Singh, Sardar- Ajit Singh, Sardar-Saran Singh, and Shahee-E-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh. Shaheed- Bhagat Singh Nagar district is one of  23 districts of state of Punjab India. Shaheed- Bhagat Singh Nagar District is situated in 31.8. N  and 76.7  E  part of Punjab on the right bank of Mighty River Sutlej. Khatkar Kalan village is famous for so many things. This place was known as a fortress. It was related with a feudal chief. We visited the haveli in Khatkar Kalan that was built by Bhagat-Singhs great grandfather, Fateh Singh. According to village residents before Bhagat- Singhs birth, his father Kashan Singh move to Faisalabad. Bhagat Singh was born into a Punjabi Jat Sikh family on 27th September 1907 in the village of Banga in the Lyallpur District of the Punjab. He was  the second of 7th Children four sons. His ancestor's were Khalsa Sardars. Who, under Maharaja Ranjit Singh helped in the spread of the Sikh Kingdom against  the  turbulent Pathans on the west and the dangerous English on the east. Bhagat Singh was unmarried.  He was busy for his revolutionary work and it was very tough to build a personal relationship for him. But some people say for few days he was engaged with Durga Devi. Anyway Participating in Several Acts of  Sabotage against British Institutions, including an attempt to bomb the central legislative assembly in Delhi. This incident is really significant. Bhagat Singh is considered one of the most powerful revolutionaries of the Indian Independence movement. His bravery leadership sacrifice for the freedom of the country fearlessness courage and patriotism is too much inspirational. His famous court is " They may kill me, but they cannot kill my Ideas" I think it is a great motivational speech for all. His slogan " Inqilab Zind abed" meaning Long Live the revolution. When we went to "Shaheed -E - Azam Museum" I really surprised to visit that place. Because Bhagat- Singh is a Inspirational Character for me. He was a brave young man who dedicated his life to the struggle for Indian Independence. His story is a reminder that even in the face of great adversity. I want to say  Martyr does not die. "Long live Bhagat Singh, Long Live Revolution".
