Gandhi Jayanti

 Gandhi Jayanti is a National Holiday in India celebrated annually on 2nd October to honor the birth of Mahatma Gandhi, one of the key leaders of the Independence movement and a pioneer of the philosophy and strategy of nonviolence. It is one of the three national holiday in India. Mahatma Gandhi Ji is affectionately known as Beppo, Gandhi is celebrated for his unwavering commitment to non-violence and his pivotal role in leading India's fight for independence from British Rule. Mahatma Gandhi adopted the policy of mass disobedience and non-violent resistance as weapons against the British Rule in India and followed a principle of Ahimsa (total Non-Violence). Gandhi's first achievement was in 1918 when he led the Champ Aran and Kheda agitations of Bihar and Gujarat. He also led Non-Cooperation Movement, Civil Disobedience Movement, Swaraj, and Quit-India movement against the British government. Gandhi identified his overall method of non-violent action as Satyagraha. About our great leader Mahatma Gandhi we can see Gandhi's most significant achievement was his life-long struggle for India's freedom. On 15th 1947 his goal of freedom for his country became a reality.  It is very proud for us that the 3 prominent followers of Gandhi Ji are- Martin Luther king, Nelson Mandela, and Rajendra Prasad. Now-a-days where world suffering so many contradiction and conflict with each other. In this time we need leaders such as Mahatma Gandhi. Because Gandhi Believed that non-violence is the best way to solve problems and make the world a better place. He taught us that we can achieve our goals without violence, even when things are difficult. Gandhi's commitment to non-violence shows that we should always try to solve problem peacefully.
